Sheri Johnson is an Arizona native who is a wife, mom, Bible teacher, writer, and speaker who survived a 10-year battle with breast cancer before being severely injured in a car accident in 2011 that left her paralyzed from the chest down. Her passion is to communicate God's Word and His amazing grace, which she has been doing for more than 35 years in various settings including as a teacher, speaker and leader for women’s ministries functions and small groups, as well as for youth groups and youth camps.
Since her cancer journey and the accident, one of her greatest desires is to offer encouragement and hope to those experiencing difficult circumstances by sharing God’s goodness, love, and provisions in difficult times.

Sheri graduated summa cum laude from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University in 1990, where she was voted Outstanding Journalism Graduate by the college. As a journalist, she worked for the San Diego Tribune, The Phoenix Gazette, The Arizona Republic, and the State Press. As a writer, Sheri has written various news and feature articles as well as junior high Bible curriculum, high school camp devotionals, and dramas for all ages. She also co-authored the Same Page program for Phoenix Seminary.

Her creative and dramatic writings include: God’s Night Before Christmas, The Real Star Wars, The Search for Discernment, and Beethoven Revisited. Her dramas have been performed at Phoenix Seminary's Women With Vision Conference, Arizona Youth Camp, West Side Bible Church, and Scottsdale Christian Academy.

She counts two of God’s greatest gifts to be her husband of 33 years, Kurt, and her precious daughter, Lauren.
